National Handloom Day is celebrated on August 7 to promote handmade products and to raise awareness about the importance of handloom industries. An Inter-House Hand-woven Article Making Competition was organized for the students of Grades VI to VIII on August 6, 2022. Forty students from the four Houses displayed their crafting skills by making articles using jute as the basic material. Some products made by the students were flower vases, masks, baskets, mats, pot holders, swings and other home decor items.
