In order to commemorate the values put forth by Gandhiji, the students of Grade IX attended Gandhi Mahotsav 2022, ‘Yuva Parisamvad’ on September 30, 2022. The resource person Shri Parag Mandle, a Gandhian Philosopher, had an interaction session with the students on the tenets of non-violence and the principles of Gandhiji and their importance in our lives.
On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Gandhiji and Shastri, various activities were conducted for the students of grades II to X on October 1, 2022. To imbibe and follow the glorious trails of noble souls towards a peaceful and prosperous world, the students prepared collages, wrote slogans and quotes and recited poems and presented motivating speeches linked to the lives and principles of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The students also actively took part in the cleanliness drive by keeping the campus clean.
A short prayer service was conducted on October 2, 2022 to pay tribute to the two great souls. The school choir sang spiritual and inspirational bhajans. The celebration concluded with the Principal urging the students to learn the values and principles which Gandhiji and Shastriji stood for. He reminded the students to follow the path of kindness, truth, non-violence, respect for all beings, self-discipline, unity, harmony, resilience, sharing and caring.
