The students of Grades IX to XII participated in the Inter-House English and Hindi Impromptu Debates on July 26 & July 27, 2023 respectively. The speakers actively voiced their opinion on the topics, ‘Information Technology should be education’s top priority’ and "Manav Jati ki tej gati se pragati hi uske vinash ka kaaran hai". The students put forth their rhetorical skills to prove their points with strong and well-grounded arguments supported by relevant evidence, delivered with conviction and effective voice modulation. After much deliberation, Gold House won the first position in the English debate, whereas Blue House emerged winners in the Hindi debate. Both the debates left the August gathering with food for thought.
The debating sessions gave the students a platform to enhance their critical thinking, public speaking, and analytical skills.
