INTER-HOUSE IMPROMPTU ENGLISH DEBATE: 'THE CLASH OF ELOQUENCE'

The students of Grades IX to XII enthusiastically participated in the Inter-House Impromptu English Debate, 'The Clash of Eloquence', held on July 23, 2025. The topic, 'India should prioritize economic development over environmental sustainability,' sparked a dynamic exchange of ideas, showcasing the intellectual depth and articulation of the young debaters. Participants from all four Houses presented compelling arguments both for and against the motion. With strong, well-reasoned points supported by relevant evidence, the speakers demonstrated remarkable rhetorical skills, conviction, and effective voice modulation.

The event was graced by distinguished alumni of the school, Ms. Vibha Sharma, Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate First Class, Rajasthan Judicial Services, Jaipur, and Dr. Prerna Sharma, Associate Dental Surgeon at Kshertapal Multispeciality Hospital and Research Center, Ajmer, whose presence added great prestige to the occasion. The judges commended the participants for their clarity of thought, confidence, and eloquence. They emphasized that true national progress lies in sustainable development—where economic growth and environmental responsibility go hand in hand—and encouraged students to champion ecological balance while striving for advancement.

The debate concluded on a thought-provoking note, leaving the August gathering with meaningful insights and a deeper understanding of one of the most pressing issues of our time.
