INTRA-CLASS COMPUTING ACTIVITIES

The Computer Science Department organized a series of Intra-class activities for students of Grades VI to VIII on August 2 and 8, 2025. Designed to foster digital creativity and enhance practical computing skills, the activities encouraged students to engage with technology through meaningful, real-world themes.

Students of Grade VI participated in Poster Panorama – ‘Graphique’, where they designed digital posters on the theme ‘Zero Waste, Zero Regrets’, using platforms like Canva to convey powerful environmental messages through visuals.

In Website Designing – ‘Web Waves’, Grade VII students demonstrated their budding web development skills by creating informative web pages on the theme ‘E-Waste Recycling Process’, using basic HTML and design principles.

Grade VIII students took part in Video Making – ‘Lens for Sustainability’, producing short, impactful videos on ‘Sustainability Around Me’ with tools such as OpenShot and Windows Movie Maker, effectively blending multimedia skills with environmental awareness.

The event served as a dynamic platform for students to apply their technological knowledge creatively, while also deepening their understanding of sustainability. By integrating digital tools with socially relevant themes, the activities successfully nurtured innovation, critical thinking, and responsible digital citizenship.
