CBSE TRAINING SESSION ON LIFE SKILLS

On October 13, 2025, COE, Ajmer conducted a training session on Life Skills (Advanced) for faculty members. The session was facilitated by Dr. Mayuri Khatri, Principal, Sardar Doon Public School, Jodhpur, and Ms. Deepa Thadani, Vice-Principal, St. Stephen’s Senior Secondary School, Ajmer.

Focusing on the ten core life skills essential for holistic development, the session aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Life Skills Education within the Indian educational framework. It emphasized the practical application of these skills in both personal and professional contexts and highlighted effective strategies for integrating them seamlessly into the school curriculum.

Key areas of discussion encompassed creative thinking—with an emphasis on sensitivity, synergy, and serendipity—alongside critical thinking, resilience, collaboration, self-awareness, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and coping with stress. The session also explored effective ways to align Life Skills with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), providing valuable insights into integrating these skills within lesson planning. The aim was to nurture these core competencies among students, empowering them to make informed choices and positively influence their behaviour and overall well-being.
