GREEN SCHOOLS PROGRAMME (GSP): OUR COMMITMENT TO A GREENER FUTURE

Our school takes immense pride in being a part of the Green Schools Programme (GSP) — an innovative environmental education initiative by the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), Delhi. This programme aims to foster ecological literacy by encouraging schools to assess their use of natural resources and adopt sustainable practices that create a lasting, positive impact on the environment.

Through the Green Schools Programme, our students and teachers will collaboratively conduct comprehensive environmental audits, examining how our school manages vital resources such as water, energy, air, food, land, and waste. This hands-on approach will help identify areas for improvement and empower our school community to take meaningful, informed action toward sustainability.

The programme places a strong emphasis on capacity building by organizing workshops and training sessions for both teachers and students. These sessions will foster environmental awareness, leadership, and problem-solving skills, encouraging everyone to think critically about the environment and their role in protecting it.

By participating in the Green Schools Programme, our school aims to nurture environmentally conscious citizens, integrate sustainability into our daily learning culture, and contribute to India’s broader climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts. The GSP will inspire our students to become true eco-warriors, leading the way toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for all.
